| Dotty is a very special girl. She is a littersister to Gabe, and so was also born on May 17, 1999. Originally meant to live abroad, destiny had other plans for Dotty. After a serious trauma kept her with her breeder for recovery, she came to live with us when her and Gabe were 8 months old. Dotty has taught me more about malamutes, about humility, and about the broader concepts of training than any other dog I have ever encountered. She holds a special place in my heart, and our relationship has been forged through trial and joy. Despite her stubborn and often pushy ways, her natural charm and absolute devotion never fail to bring a smile - and one cannot help but admire and love this resilient and passionate girl. |

| Dotty & Gabe are best of buddies - and have been since they were wee pups (one of the reasons Dotty came to live with us after her recovery!) They take great joy exploring our large fenced field, and expend a great deal of energy just tearing about! |
