Luna is my baby, the light of my life - and the hopeful foundation for Gryphon kennels. This special girl was born in early 2001, and has already left her mark on this world - and on the hearts of all she meets. Especially mom's!

Luna is not only a beautiful girl, but captures both exceptional intelligence and a gentle demeanor in one lovely package. She is suprisingly mellow in daily life, but yet demonstrates impressive drive and ability in harness, and in other chances to work (and play!) and show her stuff - she has a true joy de vivre !!

Luna has also shown a natural aptitude for other forms of work from early puppyhood - including obedience and agility - and I look forward to great things with her. She is suprisingly willing and eager to please, yet with just enough of that malamute impishness to keep life interesting. She's quite a girl!

4 1/2 Months Old

Luna was my first pup that I clicker trained - and we've BOTH been having so much fun!!!
She has been a very easy dog to work with, and best of all,
she LOVES it.
We will start working on those obedience titles this year.

This versaitile puppy also made quite a debut in the show ring - in her very first show, at the ripe old age of 6 months and 1 day, she charmed the judge and started the road to her AKC Championship by taking Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite.

Oddly enough for a malamute, Luna gets along with nearly all animals she meets - other dogs, the house kitty, our horse, the sheep ... yes the sheep!
(all under close supervision of course)

The exception is birds - Luna loves to chase birds just a little too much to trust her with the feathered residents of Gryphon Farm, so her stuffed friend here is the closest I let her get to having a birdie buddy! And she does LOVE that little buddy.
