Norah is another lovely addition to the Gryphon family from Taolan lines. Coming down from a slightly different vein in the Taolan lineage than Josie, and providing a delightful contrast in both personality and certain "type" features, Norah of course shares the trademark Taolan soundness of body and mind, including a lovely front and an efficient, driving movement that will take your breath away ... as she has been doing to us since just a wee one. A singleton pup, Norah's always been a bit of a unique little girl. Evidently, the fates were kind and decided to put all the "good stuff" into the one puppy that came to be! A lovely head and expression, good bone and wonderful feet, with balanced angles and a thick, thick coat. A very "solid" pup from the beginning, she has a lot of heft ... and moves that solid little body like a well-oiled machine. Add to that her spirited happy demeanor ... Yep, this girl's something special ... |

| First Sledding Excursion ... At 8 weeks Norah came along when we took the rest of the "crew" out for a jaunt. She took to the snow like ... well, like a malamute! And don't let that sweet face fool you ... she's also got a sassy attitude as bright as the sun. One has to wonder at the wisdom of naming such a mouthy puppy after a singer (ala Norah Jones) ... as sing she does! anything from a soft cooing (yep, like a pigeon) to a yodel (vibrato and all) to "talking", which can include chewing you out loudly and at length for something you did that displeased her <grin> But oh, that crooning ... soft and melodious ... this one's a "woo-er", all right! |

| And then her first full season ... For Norah's inagural trip for her first full sledding season, trip we ran on November 25, 2005, the Friday after Thanksgiving. She's 12-1/2 months old. Click on the picture for more ... yep, she's in lead! her puppy promise is holding true. |
