Litters with Gryphon Mals Hooch has "the stuff" both in harness and in the ring! Hooch is our first "home bred" pup out of Luna's 2003 litter. And boy, are we proud of him. As a pup he was already showing his promise as a leader as well as an honest team dog, enjoying both carting ds. |

| Looking to the future!!! Our next two breedings came about as a bit of a Plan B when our hoped for breeding with Selene & Steele did not work, but as they say, all things happen for a reason, and we think these two breedings are quite something to look forward to! First, we have sent off Amore to be bred to Wintuk's Riser, Ch. Staghorn's Sunrise Over Wintuk - and we are quite excited to see how these two phenomenal dogs will blend! Riser brings to the table a fine old pedigree with several oustanding dogs and qualities behind him, and will be a valuable contribution to the program. Our breeding for 2010 brings us back to the lovely Selene (Hooch & Remy litter). Since we were unsuccessful with our first plans we are back to where we first considered- funny how that seems to happen! and are looking forward with great anticipation to taking her to the Robbins' Austin (dad to Boots and Tui from the Amore x Austin litter). This brings Austin back into the family from a different direction, and is another combo with tremendous potential. |

| This breeding gave us our girl Boots (Gryphon's Made for Moon Walking, WTD), living with the Scharers next door, and little Tui (Gryphon's North Moondancer), who was a long-awaited addition for North Kennels in New Zealand. Also out & about are the boys Chinook (Gryphon's Mystic Chinook Moon) & Titan (Gryphon's Moon of Saturn), living with their families while remaining a potential part of our program. |

| In late 2008 it was Amore's turn again. We simply could not have been more pleased with how she produced and what a fabulous mom she was (like mother, like daughter!), so opted to use her with Marsh before he moved out of the area. (Ch. | Next, in summer of 2009 "Boots", Gryphon's Made for Moon Walking, WTD (Amore & Austin litter) had 4 beautiful pups - 2 girls & 2 boys - out of our handsome Guinness (Ch. Quinault's So Smooth Xtra Stout, WTD) (Hooch & Remy litter) on May 23 '09. Boots & Guinness normally live with their mom nearby, & we welcomed Boots back home to help whelp & raise her pups. | This breeding gave us several outstanding pups, inlcuding the two here at Gryphon - Fiona (Gryphon's Northern Moonflower) and Finnigan (Finn) (Gryphon's Northern Celtic Moon). Also in our program but spoiled and loved in another home is Mojito (Gryphon's Moonlight Caribbean Cocktail), living with the Allens. And we are most proud to share our kids with two homes that are not new to mals, but have chosen these pups as their first show/breeding foundation kids: Cassie (Gryphon's Moon and Stars Align), living with Bridget Reiser, and Mira (Gryphon Moon's Bright Star in the Sky), living with the Carranzas (our California girl!). |

| From this litter we have our little Molly - Gryphon's Two Moon Molly - so named because this is the first breeding that brings in our beloved Luna twice into the same pedigree. She is a little spitfire :) already having taken Best Puppy AND overall dog in Match at 4-1/2 months old! |
