Sledding Pictures
Few things are as rewarding as riding the runners behind a team of born sled dogs ...
especially when they are Malamutes!

Sledding has become a very important part of our life in the winters, and I can safely say that both the dogs and I are hooked!  It is truly a joy to see them "in their element" and to see the primal drive to pull come to life in the snow.

These are a few pictures from our trips, but do remember - the best pictures are often in the mind and heart, as you get too easily captured by the views to remember the camera ... or just as likely, are too busy holding on to the sled to bother!

Do note that we are a bit behind with uploading older pictures ... once we do, we'll provide links to them too!

Participants in this run were Gabe & Norah in lead; Luna and, for most of the run, 6 month old puppy Luca in team; Josie and Ranger (Hooch's brother) in wheel.  Loose were Luca's littersister Amore, little visiting puppy Ryou (a full brother to Norah), and Carolyn's rescue girl Sandi.
