| On this trip, we were on the "hunt" for some nice, large Christmas trees ... the problem being that the snow was still sparse & a bit, ah, wet. But the dogs didn't care! and while we had a few snaffus (it was, after all, the first run of the season), overall, it was a wonderful start to the season! (And waaaaay better than spending the day at the mall on Black Friday <g>) Participants in this run were Gabe & Norah in lead; Luna and, for most of the run, 6 month old puppy Luca in team; Josie and Ranger (Hooch's brother) in wheel. Loose were Luca's littersister Amore, little visiting puppy Ryou (a full brother to Norah), and Carolyn's rescue girl Sandi. Oh, and of course, Chris' golden retreiver Dakota & mixed breed Becka, neither of whom we convince to run on team ... LOL |

| Mission accomplished! Hauling one of the big trees out ... Seems kinda easy, doesn't it? oh boy, it ain't! That dang tree, without a tarp underneath, collects all the wet heavy snow as you go along ... but bless their hearts, the dogs were troopers! and did a fabulous job. |
