My niece had her usual privilege of giving the pups their litter names.  For this litter, some pups have designer names in honor of "Devil Wears Prada", the moving playing in the puppy room when they were born; and Maya is named for the incredible lead dog in "8 Below".  The other names are a collection from some fo my niece's favorite TV shows and movies.

We are very excited about this litter with our goofy girl Molly (our Boots & Guinness daughter) and handsome Indy!  They say all things happen for a reason, and we are truly blessed with such a healthy happy brood from this solid combo.

Molly is a very solid and powerful girl.  She has a tremendous powerful gait, an exceptional driving rear and is overall quite a powerful and athletic girl with a lovely head (when she's not being a dork, that is!).  These pictures truly don't do her justice.  Her pedigree is a strong combination bringing together several excellent dogs from the lines we have chosen to found in, and our first double on our foundation girl Luna.  As a 4-1/2 month old pup she impressed the judges so much she won not only a Best Puppy in Match but also Best In Match over all the other more mature dogs! in an all-breed match held the weekend of the Canadian National.  She's only been shown sparingly, as she needs some time to mature, but has held her own with several RWB's and taking her BBE class consistently over some nice competition.

Molly is also our new leader in training!  with the most intense enthusiasm for working that we've seen yet - and that's saying something!  We're quite excited to work with this goofy silly girl, and know she will be a fabulous momma like the long lineage of good mums before her.
