Boys Available for Breeding Inquiries
Girls are the foundation of any kennel. Boys are the ones we most often get to share with others, in building their program through frozen, chilled or natural breedings.
We have been privileged to have some very nice boys, some of whom we've been honored to have contributed to other breeding programs. We have some of our more exceptional boys available for breeding, but we are also very selective. We want to preserve the line we are so carefully building, the quality and love that go into it, support responsible breeding, and also ensure the best match for the prospective mom. Not every boy will suit every girl, there are so many factors to consider. It serves both us and you to find the right match - it is not whether both parents are nice. Feel free to talk to us about any of your questions, whether about our dogs or breeding in general.

We welcome your inquiry, and in that process are also happy to help you really explore who the right boy is for your girl and your program - whether that is one of ours or not. Honest and open discussion about lines, a particular program, individual dogs, and various traits for all of the above (health, temperament, conformation, traits for working dogs, etc.) is very important in making these decisions. We will give that to you, and expect the same in return.

We are also always there to help educate those newer to the breed to promote responsible breeding practices. This involves awareness of the many considerations that go into whether to breed at all, and if so, what to look for in a mate suitable to your particular dog and what you want to accomplish in your program; the history of the breed and the wide range of available lines; exploring your goals and what you want to accomplish; and whatever else of interest or importance ... in other words, all the factors that go into any breeding.
We have frozen semen on Hooch, Kobo, Hunter, Finnigan and Kody. We also have some other boys that are in pet homes but that we considered valuable enough both as individuals and in pedigree to preserve for potential use in our program. We place many a show/breeding quality dog in pet homes, the right home always being our primary goal in placements.
Dogs available for natural breedings are Duncan, Mick, Kody, and later this year JW, pending confirming current health clearances for these boys.
Thank you for considering our program. We encourage questions to exchange and learn information about the breed and breeding in general. And if you have questions specific to our program and one of our boys, ask away!
